Job Description

Join a hardworking team in a hands on role where your attention to quality helps deliver fresh produce to customers across the UK.

Currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Fresh Produce Grader to join our team. This role involves grading, washing, and bagging onions and potatoes, ensuring all produce meets company quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Grading onions and potatoes to ensure they meet quality and size standards
• Washing produce thoroughly before packing
• Bagging and preparing produce for distribution
• Inspecting produce carefully to ensure there are no foreign objects or damaged items
• Removing any substandard produce from the production line
• Following all company health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider production team as required

Hourly Rate: The hourly rate is £12.71. You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year. Please note we do not offer sponsorship.

Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm in the winter months; 7 am to 8 pm in the summer season.

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar grading, production, or fresh produce role is essential
• Must not be afraid of manual work or getting hands dirty
• Good understanding of the English language, both spoken and written
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Good awareness of health and safety practices
• Physically able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Own transport to get to the site - not accessible via public transport
