Freight Forwarding Coordinator - North Dublin

Reed is delighted to be working with a long standing client of ours to recruit for a Freight Forwarding Coordinator.

The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative as well as integrate with other team members, customers and sub contractors. You will be part of a dynamic team, supporting customers throughout their shipment journey, solving problems before they arise, and making sure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Experience in Road Freight & Ocean Freight desirable, including import & export as well as LCL and Groupage services
• Accepting and processing bookings, with continuous monitoring and adjustments where required
• Invoicing, filing and general administrative duties carried out within time frame requirements and with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to react to problems efficiently
• Client focused with excellent communication skills; the role involves maintaining close relationships with customers and sub contractors
• Working as part of a team in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn online software platforms
• Proven experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Customs experience favourable, but not a requirement
