Responsibilities

• Provide hands on leadership and ownership of the technical direction during a key transition period.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, CPO, and engineering team to ensure strategic alignment.
• Establish and maintain robust, scalable architecture suitable for long term growth, leveraging an Azure first, Microsoft centric stack with .NET at its core.
• Shape and manage cloud security, data protection, and compliance initiatives in collaboration with external advisors, focusing on standards suitable for a scaling SaaS environment.
• Align engineering efforts with real customer and operational value, emphasizing clear product thinking, disciplined execution, and long term quality.
• Lead the exploration and responsible adoption of applied AI, prioritizing genuine value creation and safe deployment.
• Mentor senior engineers, elevate engineering standards, and fortify technical decision making and culture.
• Engage in hiring processes and define quality technical leadership at the company.

Qualifications

• Native level English proficiency.
• Proven experience in designing and reviewing distributed systems within an Azure and Microsoft centric environment.
• Expertise in cloud security, data protection, and compliance for a SaaS business.
• Strong alignment with product leadership to drive real customer and operational value.
• Experience with AI technologies, with a focus on safe and valuable deployment.
• Ability to support, mentor, and lead engineering teams.
• Mission driven mindset with the ability to make thoughtful trade offs for business growth.
