Are you a passionate FPGA/Firmware Engineer with a love for technology and space? Do you want to work on innovative high-tech solutions that support the development, testing, and operation of satellites? Then we've got an exciting opportunity for you!

What will you do?

As an FPGA/Firmware Engineer, you'll work at the heart of our products, including data processing systems and optical modems. You'll be responsible for the full firmware lifecycle-from architecture and VHDL design to integration, verification, and qualification support. You'll collaborate closely with other disciplines such as embedded software, hardware design, and project management. No two days are the same-and your impact will be felt from specification to final product.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design firmware architecture and define interfaces
  • Implement and simulate VHDL code
  • Integrate and test firmware on the hardware
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Support the test team during product qualification activities
  • Document your design, simulations, and test results

What you bring:

  • A degree in Electronics or a related field (BSc or higher)
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in FPGA development
  • Strong knowledge of VHDL, synthesis tools, and timing verification
  • Experience with OSVVM is a plus
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces is a bonus
  • Hands-on experience with lab test equipment for hardware validation is advantageous
  • Knowledge of modulation, coding, and DSP techniques is a plus
  • Affinity with the (aero)space industry is welcomed
  • A proactive, hands-on team player mindset
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

What we offer:

  • A chance to work on cutting-edge technology in the field of free-space optical satellite communication
  • A dynamic work environment with talented and passionate colleagues
  • Challenging projects that will elevate your technical skills
  • Plenty of room for personal growth and professional development

Ready to take on a technical challenge where you can truly make an impact? We'd love to hear from you!
