What We're Looking For:
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of hands on years FPGA or digital hardware design experience, including experience in a technical leadership or management role.
- Proven delivery of complex FPGA systems from concept to production.
- Deep expertise in RTL design, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and FPGA toolchains.
- Strong background in high-speed interfaces, DSP, control logic, and image processing.
- Solid understanding of hardware-software co-design and embedded systems integration.
- Experience with verification methodologies and test automation.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation for productivity and quality.
- Background in system architecture, performance optimization, and cross-domain trade-offs.
- Experience in data center, telecom, aerospace/defence, or high-performance computing environments is a plus.
- Exposure to hardware security, functional safety, or DO-254-compliant design is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing FPGA and digital design organization, setting clear technical direction and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
- Own the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of complex FPGA solutions from concept through production, ensuring performance, power, area, reliability, and quality targets are met.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across RTL design, simulation, synthesis, timing closure, verification, and hardware validation.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with systems, software, hardware, and verification teams to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Establish and enforce best practices in design methodology, verification, documentation, IP reuse, and automation.
- Lead project planning, estimation, scheduling, and execution while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent, balancing deep technical expertise with organizational scalability.
- Partner with system architects on FPGA/ASIC/software partitioning and guide long-term technical strategy based on evolving FPGA technology roadmaps.
Hybrid & Flexible working: This role offers flexible working but does require engineers on site for 3-4 days per week and is a secure site where SC clearance is needed.
