Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

An excellent opportunity to join a high-performing FP&A team within a leading international insurance company. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, taking ownership of the several underwriting lines and sub-sectors within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial insight and guidance to underwriting and senior business stakeholders.

• Analyse financial performance and highlight key trends impacting profit and revenue growth.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and support monthly forecasting through collaboration with the business.

• Manage technical insurance results and work closely with other finance teams to ensure integrity of the numbers.

• Contribute to strategic finance projects and support continuous process improvement across the function.

• Coach and develop junior team members to support capability growth.

• Communicate key drivers of financial performance that impact future growth to non-finance stakeholders

Requirements:

• Several years post qualified experience in general insurance (industry or accounting firm)

• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities

• High attention to detail and ability to challenge the status quo

• Proven ability to influence, lead, and deliver high-quality outputs on time
