Founding Engineer
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in London office)

I am representing a fast-moving, mission-driven start up building an AI-powered clinical knowledge platform.

What You'll Do:

• Build and scale Back End services (Python/FastAPI) for ingesting, indexing, and serving medical content.
• Develop retrieval infrastructure using vector databases (eg PGVector, Pinecone).
• Deploy on GCP (Cloud Run, Vertex AI) with Terraform, CI/CD, and observability tools.
• Collaborate across product, mobile, and clinical teams to ship weekly.
• Ensure secure, compliant data handling

What you need:

• 5+ years Back End experience (Python preferred).
• Strong background in ML, search, or recommender systems.
• Skilled in vector search, embeddings, and LLM-based RAG.
• Hands-on with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Comfortable in early-stage, fast-paced environments.
