The founding AI research engineer will shape the scientific and research AI direction, working end-to-end from inception to product. This involves identifying and solving challenging problems related to retrieval, knowledge-base systems, and reasoning models. The role requires both strong scientific abilities and the capacity to build and ship production systems rapidly, contributing significantly to a fast-moving AI platform.

What you will do:

• Elite PhD credentials (e.g., Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, Stanford) in ML/AI or related fields.
• Proven ability to ship and scale production ML systems, beyond just research frameworks.
• Strong in-person availability in London, thriving in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
