Job Description
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of forklift issues from hydraulic leaks to electrical malfunctions ensuring minimal downtime Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes filter replacements and safety inspections to extend equipment lifespan Utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals to accurately identify root causes of mechanical and electrical failures Conduct thorough pre-operation checks and post-repair testing to guarantee optimal forklift performance and safety
- High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training in mechanics is a strong asset.
- Possess a valid Forklift Operator's license or certification, demonstrating practical understanding of equipment use.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience specifically repairing forklifts and similar material handling equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
