Forklift Driver

Role: Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Newport (NP19)

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Requirement: FLT Counterbalance Licence is Essential

Our client is a global leader in the field of chemistry, providing innovative material solutions that support a wide range of major industries. They are now recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support their busy operation on a temporary basis.

Shifts

• Week 1: 07:00 - 15:00
• Week 2: 10:00 - 18:00

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operating a Counterbalance FLT
• Moving raw materials, chemicals, and finished products across the site
• Loading and unloading vehicles and production areas
• Completing documentation with high accuracy
• Supporting warehouse and production teams
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
• Adhering to all site Health & Safety and operational procedures

Skills and Experience

• In-date FLT Counterbalance accreditation is essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills (Face-to-Face / Radio / Written / IT)
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Team-oriented with strong reliability
• Self-motivated, proactive problem solver
• Adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude

Additional Requirements

• Role subject to DBS check, Drug/Alcohol tests, and Pre-Employment Medical
• Own transport required due to site location
