Forklift Counterbalance/Reach Driver

As a Forklift Counterbalance/Reach Driver in Ledbury, you will join a warehouse team on a temporary full-time basis for six to eight weeks, starting immediately. Working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, your duties include safely operating either a Counterbalance or Reach FLT to handle supplier deliveries, pick and pack customer orders, and load goods for dispatch. You will also support stock control through inventory checks, replenish production areas, and maintain clear storage identification. A valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence is essential. This role offers £13.00 per hour.

Forklift Counterbalance/Reach Driver - Immediate Start, Ledbury, £13.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, Temporary (6-8 weeks). Pertemps are recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance/Reach driver to join a busy warehouse team in Ledbury on a temporary basis for 6-8 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT safely and efficiently
• Receiving, checking and storing supplier deliveries
• Picking, packing and loading customer orders for dispatch
• Supporting stock control activities, including inventory checks and stock counts
• Replenishing production areas and maximising warehouse space
• Ensuring stock is clearly identified and stored correctly
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse and yard
• Complying with all Health & Safety and quality procedures

Skills & Experience

• Valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience using warehouse systems, ERP software and barcode scanners
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kanban or 5S would be advantageous
