Job Description
Monday to Friday working hours with occasional overnight travel and weekends
Travel costs and all expenses paid for
Location: Leicester
Job Purpose
To ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the Driving School schedule through training and assessment and in line with the Company Quality Procedures and ensure that all training is delivered in a compliant and professional manner.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that the instruction is planned and delivered to meet the Company's commercial expectations.
- Ensure that Learners receive appropriate support, assessment and training based on their individual needs.
- Ensure that previous achievements are identified, recognised and actioned.
- Deliver training and provide input into the production of training material as required.
- Ensure Learners complete their license acquisition within contracted timescales by applying effective time management systems.
- Assist with the assessment process of new driving candidates.
- Provide learners with impartial information, advice and guidance to help support.
- Comply with Observation feedback where applicable.
- Undergo training and development in line with the needs of the Business, including standardisation activities.
- Ensure appropriate qualifications are maintained or achieved within relevant timeframe.
- Maintain occupational competence and maintain CPD.
- Participate in marketing the Company's services.
- Complete all relevant records to comply with the Company's Quality Procedures where appropriate.
- Conduct commercial training in line with personal accreditations.
- Travel to other locations connected with the business as required.
- Assist with other duties within the scope and nature of the position such as training and development of new staff.
- Implement and comply with the Company's Equality & Diversity, British Values, Safeguarding, Health & Safety Policies and promote the policies to clients and employers with whom the Company works.
- Implement and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Personal Specification
Qualifications
- Direct Training experience
- Relevant Training Qualification
- Full Driving Licence
- Relevant Training Qualification - RTITB FLT
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Direct Training experience
- Appropriate level of literacy and numeracy
- Knowledge and experience within the Logistic industry.
- Instructor Qualification to undertake adhoc training such as Licence Acquisition.
- Knowledge of Government legislation on the highway
- Full Driving license
