Foreman - East Cork

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title - Foreman Project - Commercial & Residential Job Location - Cork Salary - €70K - €80K + package + vehicle About the Company

Fantastic opportunity to work with a Tier 2 Main Contractor with a strong foothold in the Cork area.

They are keen to chat to experienced Foremen about a range of projects they have starting in Q1 2024 - residential, commercial and industrial/ pharma.

Projects range in value from €1M to €30M across Cork City & County.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the completion of new build developments.
• Oversee the project and manage manpower on site including, direct staff, trades and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Report to and support the Site Manager.
• Attend weekly toolbox talk and whiteboard meetings.
• Read and interoperate drawings to ensure works completed are accurate.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Qualification
• Proven record of managing the construction of projects valued over €3M would be desirable
• Ideally Carpentry, Joinery or Engineering Background
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working with a Main Contractor
