Food TechnicianFull-Time 5 Days per Week SouthwarkAre you an experienced Food Technician with a strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition and practical food education?A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Food Technician to join a welcoming school in Southwark. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent practical knowledge, and a genuine interest in supporting students within a busy school environment.A relevant degree is preferred, although strong practical experience and subject knowledge will also be highly valued.The school offers a lovely, supportive working environment, alongside excellent opportunities for professional growth and career progression.

• Prepare and organise ingredients, equipment and resources for practical food lessons.
• Support teachers and students during practical cooking and food technology sessions.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health and safety.
• Manage stock, ordering and storage of food and equipment.
• Ensure kitchens, workspaces and equipment are clean, safe and ready for use.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the Food Technology department.
• Contribute to a positive, engaging and well-organised learning environment.
