Job Introduction

Looking for a role where you can make a real difference every day? Sodexo is hiring a Food Service Assistant at North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, York, Easingwold, YO61 3FA. You'll help deliver fresh, high-quality meals and create a friendly, welcoming experience for everyone who walks through the door.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve food and drinks with a smile, keeping customers happy.
• Prepare and assemble meals safely and hygienically.
• Keep food areas spotless, washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Manage stock safely, following proper storage and rotation procedures.
• Take orders and process payments, accommodating special dietary needs.
• Set up and close food service stations, ensuring smooth operations.
• Follow all health & safety rules, keeping everyone safe.
