Food Safety Inspector

We have a client in the West Midlands looking for 350 Cat D and E rated inspections to be carried out by the end of March 2027.

Delivering the work is very straight forward, you will simply be asked to complete a full premises inspection and associated paperwork. You will return paperwork to the client and they will write to the business to advise of risk ratings.

The work programme is very flexible and allows for weekend and evening work. We will simply ask you to specify your availability for the rest of the year and an estimate of how many inspections you can complete, we will then allocate accordingly.

The work will be paid on a unit basis for each inspection completed with rates as below:

• £60-£65 Cat C
• £55-£60 Cat D
• £45-£50 Cat E

We need those with experience inspecting on behalf of a Local Authority. You will need to provide evidence of your competency. You will need to be qualified to carry out Food hygiene inspections.

You can work via a limited company or umbrella.
