Food Runner

At Radisson Blu Hotel London Stansted Airport, a modern and sophisticated hotel, we are looking for a Food Runner to join our Food & Beverage Service Team.

Welcome to the Radisson Blu Hotel London Stansted Airport Hotel, a modern and sophisticated hotel where convenience meets style for our business and leisure guests. Situated at Stansted Airport, the hotel features 500 bedrooms and suites, two on site restaurants, a bar, leisure facilities and meeting rooms.

• Support the smooth running of the food & beverage department, ensuring all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
• Work as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
• Take responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Deliver on departmental plans and objectives, ensuring hotel initiatives & targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with the immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled and that productivity and performance levels are attained.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships while promoting the company culture and values.
• Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation, planning, delivering and documenting best practice activities for internal and external audit, performing follow up as required.

• Experience in food & beverage service is beneficial but not essential.
• Hands on approach with a can do work style.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks assigned.
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
• Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
• Strong communication skills.
