Food Production Operative

Role

This vacancy will be in the Curing/slicing department. This role works in a chilled and wet environment. You will be processing raw meat (gammon / bacon) according to customer specifications and company standards. Working in the curing department, there is a large degree of manual handling, heavy lifting and repetitive movement required. On the job training is provided for all employees, but previous experience within food production would be an advantage.

Shift pattern and pay

Monday to Friday 2 pm - 10 pm. Pay rate is £12.87 per hour, overtime available and paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours.
