Food Production Operative

Location: Near Takeley
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm
Type: Temporary to Permanent

We're looking for reliable Food Production Operatives to join a growing food manufacturing site that prepares meat based products for major retailers. You'll be working in an ambient temperature production area, carrying out a mix of packing, line work, and general production duties. This role offers consistent daytime hours, long term stability, and a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position.

• Work on a busy production line handling various food products
• Pack, sort and label items to required standards
• Carry out simple quality checks
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times
• Keep your workstation clean and organised
• Perform light to moderate lifting during the shift

• Comfortable working on your feet and at a steady pace
• Previous production or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
• Own transport is highly advantageous due to the rural location
