Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Mixer Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing ingredients accurately and efficiently to ensure high-quality food products. This role requires adherence to food safety standards and involves operating mixing equipment within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and a solid understanding of food safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor various mixing machinery to produce consistent food batches in accordance with production schedules.
  • Measure and weigh ingredients precisely using basic maths skills to ensure recipe accuracy.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HACCP guidelines and other food safety regulations throughout the production process.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform minor mechanical adjustments, and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Record production data accurately, including batch numbers, ingredient quantities, and process times.
  • Follow cleaning schedules to ensure all equipment and work areas meet hygiene standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational issues with mechanical knowledge and problem solving skills.
  • Participate in ongoing training programmes related to food safety and production techniques.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety procedures is advantageous.
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience with industrial machinery is desirable.
  • Basic maths skills are required for measuring ingredients and calculating proportions.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control processes is a plus.
Shift & Pay

Shift: Monday to Friday 04:00-13:00

Pay rate: 04:00-06:00 - £14.62 (Night allowance)

06:00-13:00 - £12.95
