Overview

IKEA Nottingham is looking to welcome part time Food Production Assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team. The position involves cooking and serving favourite dishes such as Swedish meatballs, keeping the kitchen shining, and working safely while contributing to a fast paced, team focused environment.

What you'll need to have
  • Prior food and customer service experience is beneficial but not required; readiness to be actively involved in the work is essential.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Self reliance, motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong organisational and detail orientated skills, even when busy.
  • Legal age of 18 or older to comply with health and safety guidelines.
What you'll be doing day to day
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food while cleaning the kitchen and following health and safety standards.
  • Deliver a customer focused experience, listening, acting, and exceeding expectations each day.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including removal of facial and ear piercings while on duty.
  • Support colleagues, lend a hand, and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Perform manual handling safely.
