Food Packaging Manager - Midlands - Midlands - £40-47k Basic + car + bonus + benefits

This £billion blue chip organisation seeks an experienced packaging development/technology professional from the chilled food sector. You will have experience working with a broad variety of packaging formats and technologies including printed folded cartons, rigid plastics and flexibles, ideally with management experience and of working with the major retailers although this is not a prerequisite. Strong project management skills are essential as there are circa 300 SKU's active at any one time, and the ability to innovate within a well established product category while always bearing in mind the implications on cost and the environment and ensuring the packaging is fit for purpose. The role will involve travel to visit customers and suppliers and therefore comes with a company car.
