Food Bank Aid Pickers / Packers Needed

Looking for volunteers to pick and pack for 30 food banks in North London. We offer flexible volunteering.

Volunteer Tasks

• Pick & pack donated food for food banks.
• Unpack donations and supermarket deliveries.
• Drivers to take donations to local food banks.
• Portion out food into smaller portions for food banks.

Shift Times

• Weekday shifts: 9 am - 12 pm, 12 pm - 3 pm, 3 pm - 5:30 pm.
• Sunday shifts: 12 pm - 3 pm.

We are a central distribution hub that provides food, toiletries and household goods to 30 food banks in North London. Tasks include:

• Place products into crates ready to be sent out to food banks - do not over fill as they need to be stacked.
• Unwrap and separate multi packs.
• Split large bags of goods into smaller bags for distribution.
• Replenish the crates with new products arriving at the hub.

Shift Schedules

• 1st shift 8 am - 9 am
• 2nd shift 9 am - 12 pm
• 3rd shift 12 pm - 3 pm
• 4th shift 3 pm - 5:30 pm

We are flexible with shifts, welcoming and appreciating any help in the hub!
