Food & Beverage Supervisor - North of Scotland, UK

Our client is a renowned hotel nestled in the scenic landscapes of the North of Scotland, approximately 85 miles from Inverness. Known for its warm hospitality and stunning surroundings, this establishment offers a unique opportunity for dedicated professionals to thrive in a vibrant environment. Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations within the restaurant, which caters for 40-50 covers.
  • Assist with front-of-house duties, including welcoming guests, checking in and out residents, and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service in the restaurant and communal areas.
  • Support the team in delivering a seamless dining experience, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist with staff training and development to uphold service standards.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise restaurant flow.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the hotel's reception and accommodation services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage supervision or management within a busy hospitality environment.
  • Hands on approach with a "can do" attitude and a flexible, "jack of all trades" mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Experience with front of house operations, including guest check in/out procedures.
  • Relevant certifications such as Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene are desirable.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
