Hastings Hotels is a family owned, luxury hotel group based in Northern Ireland and we are opening a new venue in the heart of Great Victoria Street in Belfast City Centre - The Halt.

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our team opening The Halt.

The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out seven including weekends. Typical shift patterns are 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm.
The salary for this full time position is £25,480 per annum.

About the roleSupervise your team through effective communication, training and development.
Contribute to a working environment that is respectful, supportive, and energising.
Supervise all operational aspects of The Halt including bar, food service, and front-of-house. This includes the opening and closing of the venue.
To ensure company policies relating to cash handling, stock control and stock ordering are implemented and monitored.
Ensure staff receive the appropriate training and coaching to provide effective and efficient service in line with Hastings standards.
Uphold Hastings Hotels' quality standards and promote continual improvement
Ensure you and the team assist customers with any reasonable request
Proactively deal with customer queries and complaints with warmth and professionalism.
Ensure the security of food, beverage and storage areas is maintained at all times.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the venue.
Any other duties as required by Management

Required Criteria- Right to Work in the United Kingdom
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths
- Must have previous food and beverage experience
- Smart well groomed appearance is essential
- Good communication and basic numeracy skills
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Work well under pressure and be a team player
- Must have previous food and beverage supervisory experience gained within a similar quality establishment
