Food and Beverage Assistant, Barista and Bar

We are looking for a flexible and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistant, Barista and Bar to join our catering team.

In this varied role, you will provide food and beverage service across College catering outlets, conferences, functions, and events, ensuring a high standard of customer service for students, Fellows, staff, and external guests.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide drinks service within the Red Brick Café Bar, to include Barista coffee, blended drinks as well as the selling of pre-packaged soft drinks.
• To provide a food service that will include breakfast, lunch and evening meal alternatives to the main college food outlet.
• To be able to work behind a fully licensed bar selling alcohol within the colleges license rules.
• To be able to work 5 days over 7, a mixture of day and evening shifts to deliver a high-quality level of service for students, fellows, staff and outside customers.
• To work flexibly to ensure all operational shifts are covered as required and all food and beverage service areas are supported as and when necessary.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy hospitality environment.
• Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player.
• Previous food and beverage experience is desirable but not essential.
