Food and Beverage Assistant

Responsibilities

• Deliver a standard of service comparable to a high-end hotel or restaurant, focusing on attentiveness and positive patient experience.
• Help patients choose meals, take orders and deliver food throughout the hospital.
• Prepare and collect meal trays promptly.
• Answer phone requests and communicate dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Keep work areas clean, wash utensils and maintain hygiene standards.
• Record additional requests and follow all allergen and dietary safety policies.

Requirements

• Have previous hospitality, retail or customer service experience.
• Be confident in speaking with patients and colleagues.
• Take pride in delivering warm, attentive service.
• Demonstrate good awareness of food hygiene standards.
• Have a flexible, reliable approach during busy periods.
