Food & Beverage Assistant

Overview

As a Food & Beverage Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will create a warm, welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for residents, families and visitors. You will serve meals and refreshments, ensure dining areas are clean, comfortable and inviting, and support the day to day delivery of food and beverage services throughout the home. Your friendly approach and attention to detail will help us maintain the high standards for which Barchester is known.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and refreshments to residents, families and visitors.
• Maintain cleanliness, comfort and an inviting atmosphere in all dining areas.
• Assist with kitchen duties and support hospitality teams to deliver food and beverage services.
• Prepare dining areas and assist with catering tasks as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and enjoy working with people, taking pride in the resident experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in hospitality, catering or customer service environment.
• Friendly, caring and professional approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
