Food and Beverage Assistant

Location: One of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is set in ten acres of stunning grounds. With 4 AA red stars, 3 AA rosettes, and a member of Relais & Châteaux, Buckland Manor offers employees the opportunity to work within a traditional, yet friendly English country house hotel.

We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel - every penny received is paid out to the team. Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay for a full time employee.

The hotel may be able to offer on site staff accommodation to help the newest members of the team settle into life at the hotel and local area, and free parking is available on site.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will work closely with both the front of house and back of house teams to ensure our guests not only have a wonderful time, but also make memories to last a lifetime.

We welcome applications from candidates with no experience, as this role is all about personality and attitude - we can teach you the rest.

Responsibilities

• We serve a lot of yummy dishes, so you should get to know the menu in order to advise our guests if they ask for help.
• You spend a lot of your life at work, meaning often your colleagues become friends; we encourage that. We want our employees to build close relationships across all teams.
• Ensuring all our guests have a memorable experience.
• We are one team, so we will all muck in from time to time, helping each other across departments.
