Based at the Dolphin Centre as part of the Front of House Team, you will thrive in a fast paced environment and understand the importance of excellent customer service. We are looking to attract people who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service with an enthusiasm to deliver business performance and who will be proud to be part of this very successful team.
As well as our 150 seat Bistro, 16 Horsemarket Café, Soft Play and Bowling catering areas we are also looking forward to the opening of a 9 hole crazy Golf Course, Shuffleboard and interactive darts which will have another catering area.
As part of the front of house team your duties will include taking orders via a POS till system, delivering food and beverages to tables, washing up and keeping all catering areas clean and presentable. You will also prepare and serve refreshments for meetings and food and bar service for events. Other tasks include stocking up, filling confectionary vendors and setting rooms.
26 hour contracts usually consist of 4x 6.5 hour shifts, however these are subject to change to meet business needs. Shifts generally fall between the hours of 7.30am and 10.30pm (sometimes later for events).
A large proportion of these shifts will occur at weekends and evenings and the successful applicant will need to be available 7 days a week to fulfil the 26 hours. i.e. regrettably we cannot offer set working days, therefore only applicants who can commit to this can be considered. Rotas are finalised with a week or more notice.
As you will be working in a licensed premises and serving alcoholic drinks to customers, you should be aged 18 and over.
The South Park Café is also managed by Dolphin Centre Catering and there may be opportunity to fulfil hours in this area too.
