FOH Team Member

This is a customer-facing role involving service, food preparation and café operations. Front of House Team Members deliver excellent customer service while preparing drinks, desserts and food items to Yuum standards in a fast-paced premium café environment. This role is part of the opening team at Yuum The Whiteley.

Responsibilities Customer Service

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Create a welcoming environment and deliver consistently high hospitality standards
• Take customer orders using the POS system
• Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently recommend products and promotions to increase average order value

Food & Drink Preparation

• Prepare drinks, desserts and food items according to Yuum standards
• Carry out light food preparation and cold prep when required
• Follow product handling and storage procedures
• Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures

Operations & Teamwork

• Maintain Yuum service, presentation and product standards at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, equipment and service areas
• Refill product displays and maintain visual presentation
• Assist with deliveries, restocking and inventory organisation
• Maintain product display standards
• Support waste reduction and stock rotation
• Assist with opening, closing and daily operational tasks
• Work closely with the team to keep service smooth, organised and welcoming during busy periods
• Share feedback and suggestions to help improve service and operations

What we are looking for Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in hospitality, café, retail or customer service preferred
• Comfortable using POS systems and handling customer orders
• Good spoken English

Work requirements

• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
