Position

We're looking for a friendly, reliable Front of House Supervisor to join our team at our well loved village pub. This is a hands on role, perfect for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in great service, and likes being part of a close knit community pub.

About the Role

As Front of House Supervisor, you'll play a key part in the day to day running of the pub, leading the front of house team and making sure every guest feels welcome. You'll work closely with management and the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading shifts and supervising front of house staff
• Delivering excellent customer service and setting the standard for the team
• Serving food and drinks efficiently and professionally
• Opening and closing the pub when required
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving any issues
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Assisting with staff training and onboarding
• Cash handling and till checks
• Following health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a pub, bar, or hospitality setting
• Supervisory experience is a bonus, but not essential for the right person
• Confident, friendly, and organised
• Able to stay calm during busy periods
• Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
• A genuine passion for hospitality and community pubs
