The Role

We are looking for a FLT Outloader Operator to join our team at The Silver Spoon Company in Stortford. This role is key to ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across the warehouse, yard, and wider site.

You will be responsible for following all operational, health and safety, environmental, and food safety procedures. Your duties will include recording operational data accurately, identifying and resolving basic issues, and escalating concerns to your manager when needed.

You'll support audits by demonstrating safe handling of raw materials, packaging, and finished products. Flexibility is important, as you'll be expected to cover yard activities during breaks and work additional hours to meet customer and operational demands. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure smooth shift handovers.

The Candidate

We're looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse or food manufacturing environment. You should have good communication skills and be confident in recording accurate information.

Preferred (training provided):

• Level 2 Food Safety & HACCP
• COSHH Awareness
• FLT and Banks person certification

Experience in a warehouse or food manufacturing setting and awareness of HACCP and GMP are desirable.
