FLT Counterbalance Driver/ Labourer

Job Vacancy: FLT Counterbalance Driver

Our client, a leading supplier of flooring and carpets glues, is currently seeking a versatile and skilled individual to join their team as an FLT Counterbalance driver.

This role offers a unique split between production tasks and operating the forklift truck. It provides a fantastic opportunity for growth and development within the company, with the potential for a long term position and the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance trucks efficiently and safely.
• Pack finished products into boxes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assemble boxes as needed for packaging purposes.
• Understand and follow instructions provided by supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records and keep track of numbers.
• Work independently and effectively without constant supervision.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance license.
• Experience in operating Counterbalance trucks.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong numerical skills to keep track of quantities and measurements.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work.
• Self motivated and capable of working unsupervised.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 0600 - 1400 hrs and 1400 - 2200 hrs rotating every 2 weeks.

Payrate

£13.25 per hour.
