Requirements
  • Item 1 of 8, Minimum age of 18
  • Item 2 of 8, Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with a pass (Grade C OR 9-4) in English
  • Item 3 of 8, Entitled to live and work in the United Kingdom unrestricted
  • Item 4 of 8, Proficiency in both written and spoken English and at least one of the following additional languages : Cantonese, Putonghua, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Filipino, Hindi, Japanese, Korean or Thai
  • Item 5 of 8, Proficiency in Putonghua is an added advantage
  • Item 6 of 8, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Item 7 of 8, A minimum arm-reach of 208cm on tiptoe
  • Item 8 of 8, Previous experience in airline, hospitality or service industry is an advantage

As this position is safety-sensitive, successful candidates are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Item 1 of 4, Pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check
  • Item 2 of 4, Successfully complete a Police Act Disclosure Application in accordance with legislation controlling access to restricted zones at the airports. This is in addition to references from previous employers .
  • Item 3 of 4, Demonstrate physical fitness by passing a pre-employment medical assessment

Exemption from English Assessment is available for candidates with either of the following:

  • Item 1 of 2, TOEIC (Public Test): A valid score of 325 or above in both Reading and Listening
  • Item 2 of 2, IELTS (Academic): A valid overall Band Score of 6.0 or above
