Fleet Manager at Koolboks

Koolboks is a sustainable cooling solutions startup that designs and distributes solar-powered refrigeration products - like freezers, chillers, and ice makers - especially for places with limited or unreliable electricity access, such as many communities and small businesses across Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fleet Manager

Location: Lagos

• Manage and oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, scheduling, and utilization
• Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with local transportation laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and insurance companies for repairs, servicing, and claims management
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, or damages, and implement corrective actions
• Utilize fleet management systems and data analytics to improve operational efficiency and reporting.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle usage, and operating costs, identifying opportunities for cost optimization
• Supervise and support drivers, including onboarding, training, performance monitoring, and compliance with company policies
• Maintain accurate fleet records, including registrations, insurance, inspections, and service logs

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 per month.
