Job Description
FLAGSHIP MANAGER - LDN FLAGSHIP (9 MONTH MAT COVER) PURPOSE & IMPACT ON ORGANIZATION

Support the Brand Flagship Senior Manager in managing a high-volume, strategically positioned store

Represent the adidas brand and product in the most impactful way

Lead the team within a designated area of the Flagship Store to deliver outstanding consumer experience and maintain high operational and brand standards

Collaborate with Market and Global teams to implement the strategic direction of the Brand Flagship concept

DRIVING BRAND EXPERIENCE

Amplify the Brand with every decision and action

Ensure event and Visual Merchandising execution at the highest standards

Fuel Brand passion within the team

Embody and support retail skills that reflect the Brand

Meet or exceed store sales and profit targets

Manage resources within the designated area to deliver a leading shopping experience

Ensure proper execution of policies, procedures, initiatives, and directives

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Deliver exceptional consumer experience tailored to the Brand Flagship

Foster a positive, consumer-centered, authentic, and active store culture

Understand the strategic importance of the Brand Flagship and support brand advocacy

Provide input to the Senior Manager for feedback to departments and global teams

Coach associates to drive sales and meet KPIs

Support hiring, development, and performance of high-performing employees

Foster collaboration with global and Market Retail teams

Provide feedback on programs, initiatives, and store needs

Communicate product and operational needs to the Senior Manager

Act as Brand ambassador in the local community

Ensure consistent implementation of global programs and strategies

Support performance management, succession planning, recruiting, and development activities

Promote a high-performance culture with clear expectations and accountability

Support training and execution across business, operations, sales/service, and visual merchandising

Coordinate with Regional Trainer to ensure Retail Standards training

Complete all record keeping for applicants, hires, payroll, appraisals, disciplinary actions, and terminations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong financial acumen and ability to influence outcomes

Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

Effective response to sensitive inquiries or complaints

Sound judgment in resolving problems aligned with standards and policies

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

Ability to collaborate and influence across departments and levels

Comfortable in a matrix organisation

Thrives under ambiguity and advocates for change

Open to feedback and maintains composure under stress

Passion for the adidas brand and sport

Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other software (Internet, POS Systems)

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated business management skills with P&L ownership (min £8M), franchise leadership, or comparable experience

5 years of fashion retail management experience with a leading global brand

Leadership role in a branded organisation focused on brand experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant market experience with a high street leader

Successful leadership of a team of 40+ people

Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing); fluency in another language highly desirable
