First Line Manager - Nights (4 on / 4 off)

£34,000 per annum + £1,750 annual night allowance

Staffline are recruiting for an experienced First Line Manager (Nights) to join our team at Suntory, Coleford. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of night operations, working on a 4 on / 4 off rota, managing a busy logistics environment, and ensuring smooth coordination of transport activity on-site.

Pay and Shift Pattern

• £34,000 per annum
• £1,750 annual night allowance
• 4 on / 4 off rolling rota
• Night shift: 18:00 - 06:00 (12-hour shifts)

Your Time at Work

• Manage the day-to-day operation during the night shift, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery of customer products
• Book in vehicles at the customer site and take overall responsibility for drivers and vehicles on the road
• Ensure full transport compliance in line with DHL's earned recognition standards
• Communicate effectively with customers and ensure contractual and operational KPIs are consistently met
• Analyse operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Please note - this is a lone working position within the office; however, there will be other DHL team members and customer representatives on site during your shift.

• Proven experience in a First Line Manager, Transport Supervisor, or similar logistics leadership role
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of transport compliance and legal driving requirements
• Confident working independently and making operational decisions under pressure
