Position: Fire Warden/Spotter with IPAF

Location: Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork

BSS is looking for a Fire Warden/Spotter with an IPAF certificate for an upcoming project in Ringaskiddy, County Cork.

Your responsibilities

As a Fire Warden/Spotter your responsibilities will include

• Act as a spotter to guide and support operatives working at height
• Assist fitters and tradespeople with installation, tools, and materials handling
• Operate MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) in line with IPAF training
• Monitor surrounding work areas for hazards and maintain safe exclusion zones
• Carry out Fire Warden duties during hot works and high-risk activities
• Provide guidance to operators to avoid accidents and ensure the safety of nearby workers.
• Maintain clear and continuous communication to assist with precise movements and positioning.

Requirements

• Valid Safe Pass
• Valid IPAF Certification
• Proven experience in a similar role
