Fire Safety Manager

Southwark Council is seeking an Interim Fire Safety Manager.

Interviews will be scheduled as soon as possible.

The position is based at 160 Tooley Street, London SE1 2HZ.

Contract details: 36 hours per week, hybrid work model (3 days in the office).

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Tier 3 level fire risk assessor
• MIFSM membership; IFE membership is desirable
• Knowledge of the New Fire Safety Competences, Fire Safety Order 2021, and Building Safety Act 2022
• Proven management experience of a Fire Safety Team
• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships within a public sector setting or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong influencing abilities
