Responsibilities

• In this cross-functional and strategic role, you will support the risk leadership team through delivering the annual ORSA and Recovery and Resolutions plans.
• You will also maintain the Group's Risk Appetite, Stress and Scenario Testing and other key Line 2-owned frameworks.
• Staying ahead of the ever-changing insurance landscape, you will also continually assess how technology and AI can be used to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of risk management while providing thought leadership and remaining up-to-date with market practice.
• With detailed knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Solvency UK, IFRS 17, UK GAAP), the successful candidate will have a good understanding of non-financial risks and operational resilience.
• In addition, you will have excellent people leadership and influencing skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with an in-depth understanding of life insurance products, especially BPA and annuities.
• Technical expert with a track record of delivering the ORSA and Stress and Scenario Testing.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Solvency UK, IFRS 17, UK GAAP) and a good understanding of non-financial risks and operational resilience.
