Finance & Risk Reporting Analyst

As a supplier to one of our biggest financial organisations, I am seeking for a Finance & Risk Reporting Analyst for a 6 months+ contract in Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Specialist, you can make this difference by providing financial information for the bank's external and internal reporting. Your work also forms the foundation on which senior management bases its policy decisions.

Additionally, you focus on preparing financial reports (Financial Reporting (FINREP) and annual accounts) and reports to regulators (De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the European Central Bank (ECB . You are also involved in streamlining and automating new and existing processes, aimed at improving both the efficiency and quality of financial reporting activities.

Experience:

• A completed financial education at university level, supplemented with at least 5 years of relevant work experience;
• In-depth knowledge of financial products;
• Extensive experience with financial reporting regulations;
• Strong affinity with data and IT (e.g. Knime / SQL is a plus)
• Good communication skills in English and/or Dutch in word and writing.
• Furthermore, you focus on collecting, analysing, and thoroughly understanding large volumes of Finance and Risk data.
• At least 5 years of operational finrep reporting experience
• Experience with change projects
• Experience with Abacus
