Lead a dedicated team to improve the financial well-being of our residents

Lead a dedicated team to improve the financial well-being of our residents

As a Financial Inclusion Manager, you'll lead a team that's dedicated to helping residents maintain their tenancies and build resilience to stay in control of their finances. It's a role where you'll bring people together, drive new ideas and make sure the support we offer is practical, timely and shaped by the people who use it.

Working Style:

You'll be based in the Borough for a minimum of three days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you're working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you'll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents' lives.

What you'll be doing:

You'll lead our Financial Inclusion service, supporting and motivating a committed team who put residents at the heart of everything they do. Day to day, you'll manage our Financial Inclusion Officers - offering supervision, mentoring, and guidance as they deliver specialist welfare and debt advice that makes a real difference.

You'll shape and develop the service alongside residents, helping us grow our offer and reach more people. From running our Money Cafes to designing new community-led initiatives, you'll be focused on practical, creative ways to support financial wellbeing and prevent homelessness.

You'll also work closely with partners across the council and beyond, helping to bring in new resources that benefit tenants. And you'll monitor the service's impact, providing updates, insights and analysis to senior managers - making sure we're delivering support that's timely, targeted and effective.

What you'll bring

You'll bring solid experience in advice and support services - ideally within social housing - and a strong understanding of welfare benefits, debt advice and related legislation. You'll also be a natural leader, confident in managing projects and motivating teams to deliver high-quality work under pressure.

You'll have a collaborative mindset and be confident working with residents and partners to co-design support that really meets people's needs. Strong relationship-building and communication skills are essential, as is a genuine commitment to inclusion, especially when supporting vulnerable communities.

If you're proactive, solutions-focused and passionate about financial wellbeing, this is a role where you can have a real impact.

Why join us

At RBKC, we're all in - investing in our people, our communities and our future.

You'll join a welcoming, creative and supportive team that's proud of the work we do and open to fresh ideas. You'll have the autonomy to develop your own projects and the backing to make things happen.

This is a chance to build on strong foundations, bringing your own approach to a service that's already been recognised for excellence. We'll support your professional development and give you space to lead, grow and shape a service that's making a meaningful difference every day.
