Financial Director

Allied Talent is delighted to partner with a fast-growing SME in Dublin who are looking to appoint a Financial Director.

This is a high-profile leadership role with significant exposure to the CFO, the Board and external investment partners.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead financial operations across a multi-entity platform. A core focus will be driving the implementation and integration of finance and BI systems, while ensuring robust financial control, reporting and governance across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Own financial control, governance and compliance across group operations
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Drive finance systems implementation, automation and process improvement
• Prepare Board, Investment Committee and lender reporting
• Lead the annual audit process and maintain audit-ready financial records
• Lead, mentor and develop the wider finance team
• Act as a trusted finance partner to Senior Management and operational leadership

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• c. 10 years' post-qualification experience in a senior finance role
• Background in an SME environment, hands on and willing to get into the detail
• Experience implementing finance and BI systems with cross-functional integration
• Proven people leadership experience within a finance function
• Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to Boards and senior stakeholders
