Business Segment Overview:

Corporate: Engage in vital activities that ensure our company's efficiency, including strategic marketing, financial management, HR, and operations. You will have the chance to optimize processes and implement impactful policies.

Position Purpose:

Ensure effective transaction sanctions screening aligned with the firm's financial crime framework, maintaining high standards for operational efficiency and risk management, while enhancing screening capabilities across the business.

Responsibilities

Main duties include:

  • Assist with implementing and customizing screening rules based on the firm's profile.
  • Review escalated and complex alerts, conducting detailed investigations.
  • Contribute to developing and updating transaction screening policies and procedures.
  • Deliver sanctions education, awareness, and training to the team and wider business.
  • Perform calibration, gap analysis, risk assessments, and testing to ensure system effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly MI and KPI reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in transaction screening projects, collaborating with internal and external vendors for successful implementation.
  • Ensure adequate resources to meet targets and SLAs, providing training and recruitment support if needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key project personnel and across group entities.
  • Support external and internal audit investigations and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of sanctions requirements in regulated financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of PSD2, MT103, ISO 200022, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • At least 2 years' experience in sanctions system implementation and calibration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for effective financial crime risk management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, or related field.
  • Decisive with sound judgment, able to work independently.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive problem identification and solution design abilities.
  • Ability to document decision-making processes clearly.
  • Additional language skills are advantageous.

Working Environment:

  • Hybrid work model.
  • Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.
