Financial Controller

Channel Islands Permanent Excellent Low Tax Package The Company

Reach International is working with this Global Financial Services Institution to appoint a Financial Controller to its Channel Island's office, to start as soon as possible. You will already be at Senior Manager or Director level within either an accountancy firm, with strong financial services experience, or a financial services institution

The Role

• Management of an accountancy team with responsibility for accounting and reporting
• Review of management accounts and year-end financial statements
• Review of forecasts, budgets and business plans
• Responsibility for cash and banking relationships
• Company Secretarial duties
• Operations management
• Man management, training, recruitment and development

The Candidate

• Fully qualified ACCA / ACA or equivalent
• An experienced Senior Manager or Director in an Accountancy Firm or Financial Services Institution
• Strong IFRS experience
• Financial Services experience particularly Insurance and/or funds, would be advantageous but is not essential
