We are a promising diagnostics company, leveraging CRISPR-Cas to develop and commercialise molecular Point of Care diagnostic products in Healthcare and Agriculture. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated Finance manager to setup and lead the financial and procurement department.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our growing finance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. If you're a driven professional with a strong foundation in accounting and a passion for contributing to a dynamic company, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably including public accounting experience.
• Experience at a Big Four accounting firm or similar reputable firm is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

What We Offer:

• Competitive total annual salary ranging from €60.000-€70.000 depending on experience, including an 8% vacation bonus and 13 th month-bonus
• Generous (20%) pension plan with Scope contributing 15% in addition to your salary
