A London market underwriting business is recruiting for a Financial Controller.
In this pivotal role supporting the senior finance leadership team, the successful applicant will be responsible for a broad set of accountabilities including:
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Taxation
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Internal controls and compliance
- Systems and process improvements
- Team leadership and development
- Providing strategic support
Applicants must be qualified accountants with extensive professional accounting experience gained within the insurance industry, have experience leading finance teams and overseeing financial control and reporting activities, be committed to improving systems and processes, and be confident presenting finance-related information to senior stakeholders.
