Job Description
The City of Yverdon-les-Bains is opening a position for a Financial Manager (H/F) at 80% to 100% within the Mobility, Environment, and Infrastructure Department. As part of the management team, you will oversee financial management and guide the team while providing support and advice to the management. You will specifically contribute to processes, quality management, and the production of decision-making tools. Main responsibilities: Financial management and oversight:- Develop and monitor the operating and investment budget;- Actively participate in the accounting and financial management of the department and annual closures;- Produce synthetic financial reports for the Department's Management;- Ensure proper management of incurred costs for both the ordinary budget and investment credits;- Ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory framework regarding public finances for the Department.Process management:- Organize, coordinate, and supervise all activities;- Optimize processes and ensure compliance with internal procedures and directives;- Develop and maintain management tools tailored to the Department's needs.Team supervision and support:- Plan and organize work, set priorities, and ensure follow-up on activities;- Promote knowledge sharing and skill development;- Ensure team unity and cohesion.Quality management:- Supervise, ensure follow-up, and manage the X quality, safety, and environmental system within the Department.Support for management decision-making:- Provide assistance to management in areas of expertise;- Produce analyses, dashboards, and decision-making tools;- Formulate recommendations based on financial data for management decisions.Profile:- Federal diploma in accounting or Bachelor's in finance, public management, economics, or equivalent;- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position and team management;- Knowledge of municipal finance management;- Knowledge of cross-disciplinary areas related to mobility, environment, and infrastructure;- Proficiency in accounting tools (ERP), common office software, and knowledge of artificial intelligence tools for reporting and analysis;- Familiarity with an X quality system.What we offer:- A responsible position at the heart of municipal projects;- A stimulating environment close to the field;- Quality working conditions and social benefits.Application deadline: March 9Start date: September 1 or upon agreement.
