Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and client-focused Financial Advisor to join our expanding Limerick-based financial planning team at FJ Hanly & Associates. This role is ideal for an early career advisor who is QFA qualified and looking to develop their skills within a supportive, team based environment.
You will work alongside experienced advisors, supporting the delivery of high quality financial advice, while building your technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and client relationship skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to holistic financial planning and develop towards a fully competent advisory role over time.
Responsibilities- Support the preparation and delivery of financial planning advice to individual clients, aligned with their goals and financial circumstances.
- Assist in developing recommendations across pensions, investments, protection, and broader financial planning needs under the guidance of senior advisors.
- Participate in client meetings, supporting discussions and gaining exposure to the advice process.
- Support ongoing client reviews, including preparation of documentation and follow up actions.
- Build strong client relationship skills through regular interaction and high quality service delivery.
- Ensure documentation and processes adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the advisory and support teams to contribute to positive client outcomes and team success.
- QFA qualified (required)
- Experience within Life & Pensions, Wealth Management, Financial Planning, or an assurance environment (preferred).
- Continuing to develop technical knowledge of Irish pension, investments, and protection products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client focused mindset.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine commitment to building a long term career in financial planning.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while developing confidence and independence over time.
